Categorized as a maxiscooter, the SENMENTI 0 is set to rival high-performance electric models like the BMW CE 04, embodying Horwin’s commitment to pioneering technologies for a sustainable future. With a history of embracing innovation, Horwin introduces the SENMENTI 0 with a groundbreaking feature – a multi-speed manual gearbox, a testament to the company’s dedication to staying at the forefront of the electric motorcycle sector.
However, this innovation comes with a premium price tag of $16,800. The order books are now open, and a $100 deposit secures riders three years of complimentary charging, reflecting the company’s forward-thinking approach.
Unmatched Performance and Range
For the price, riders can expect a robust 16.9 kWh battery, surpassing most flagship electric motorcycles. The impressive capacity promises a combined highway/city range of up to 186 miles (300 km). The powerful 74 kW (100 hp) electric motor propels the maxiscooter from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 125 mph (200 km/h).
Weighing 507 lbs (230 kg), the SENMENTI 0 incorporates an Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS) to enhance personalization, collect data for accident prevention, and boost rider protection and confidence.
Proactive Approach to Sustainability
Horwin, under the leadership of founder and CEO Wendsor Zhou Wei, emphasizes a proactive approach to the electric future. In addition to the SENMENTI 0, Horwin unveiled two concept vehicles at CES 2024. The SENMENTI X Hyper GT, positioned as the “ultimate performance touring motorcycle,” boasts an estimated range of at least 250 miles (400 km). The SENMENTI 11, designed for thrill-seekers and adventurers, promises higher performance.
Delivery Timeline and Test Rides
While the exact delivery timeline remains unclear, test rides for reservation holders are anticipated to commence in the third quarter of 2024.
